Courses

The Instituto de Línguas seasonally offers differentiated levels of English-language courses for children, teens, and adults.

Beginner courses offer an initial introduction to the English language, with immediate practice in partially-scripted conversation, vocabulary development, and comprehension.

Our current beginner courses: 09:30, 14:00

Intermediate courses are for students who already have a basis in conversational English. Our focus in Intermediate is on establishing consistency in fundamentals through spontaneous conversation and writing, structured grammar work, and engaging with written and spoken media.

Our current intermediate courses: 15:30

Advanced courses are for students who are well-versed in foundational vocabulary, grammar, and syntax, and who already possess a high level of reading and listening comprehension. In Advanced courses, our purpose is to deepen understanding of the language, engage with technical and specific concepts and vocabulary, practice spontaneous production, and develop literary analysis skills in English.

All courses are based in the four modes of communication, including receptive modes (reading, listening) and productive modes (writing, speaking).

Courses already in progress are now open to new students. The next session will be from March 2025 – June 2025!
